How to Install Drivers. After you have found the right device driver, follow these simple instructions to install it. Power off your 802.11n WLAN Adapter device. Disconnect the device from your computer. Reconnect the device and power it on. Double click the driver download to extract it. If a language option is given, select your language.

I would suggest you to install the drivers in different windows7 computer and see if you get the same error message.
Method II
I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers for USB Controllers and re-install the drivers and see if that help.
1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
3. Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver and follow the instructions.

If the above steps fail, you have to get in touch with the manufacturer of Mini USB Wireless LAN adapter.
